One of Napolean's agents around 1815, d'Oettlinger was a spy in the Duchy of Baden when the Swedish monarchy was there. presenting herself as an exiled French royalist devastated by the death of her lover, the Duke of Enghien (whose downfall and execution she may have had a hand in). Despite warnings about her, she was so charismatic, beautiful, and witty (not to mention skilled at singing and harp playing) that she rapidly became popular in high society. Two of the Swedish royal secretaries fell under her spell and she soon acquired the Swedish king's plans regarding Napolean. She was last seen in Paris in 1815. Just before TimeWatch recruited her, of course.
